     J. McGraugh's Bar & Grill was established in November 2001 by Rick and     Moira Thornton.  The restaurant was named after their youngest child and only daughter, Juel McGraugh.  Many food items on the menu are named after family members, including five burgers which are each named after one of Rick and Moira's five children.  Prior to opening the restaurant,    
Rick worked 20 years in the catering departments at the Marriott and Hilton Hotels.
